For HOT MESS, Ivana Franke will be exhibiting a print artwork.
The work of Ivana Franke investigates perceptual thresholds. Approaching the interface between consciousness and environment, she employs complex geometric structures and light to create phenomena that often appear ephemeral, ambiguous, or mysterious. With the final form of each work computed in the mind of the viewer, Franke’s oeuvre exists in the confluence of physical and mental space. Each installation poses profound questions regarding our habitual and often arbitrary modes of seeing and understanding reality.
